The mp3 player may look differnet from the example above but the same principles apply.

1. Track - The "musical note" icon indicates that the item is an mp3 audio file. Click to play the track.
2. Playlist - This "page" icon indicates that the item is an XML playlist. Click to open the list.
3. Folder - This "cd" icon indicates that the item is a sub-folder inside the main Wimpy folder. Click to open.
4. Previous List - Click to return to the previous list--use if you have entered a subfolder and want to get back to the parent folder.
5. Mute - Click to mute. Click again to return to previous volume level.
6. Previous Track - Click to play the previous track in the list
7. Play / Stop - Click to start playing the first track (when a triangle is pictured), or to stop playing the current track (when a square is pictured)..
8. Next Track- Click to advance to the next track. If random playback is on, the next track will be selected randomly.
9. Scrubber - Click and drag to go to a new position within the current track.
10. List - Displays the currently open folder, sub-folder or playlist.
11. Info Display Area - Displays the artist and title of the current track (as reflected in the name of the media file)..
12. Open / Close Help - Displays information about the current Wimpy version and allows the user to toggle the little yellow help tabs on or off.
13. Random Playback - When "on," Wimpy will randomly select the next track. When "off" Wimpy will play the next song in the list.
14. Scroll List Up - Scroll list up one item
15. Scrub List - Scroll the list by clicking and dragging.
16. Current Track - The track currently playing is highlighted in yellow.
17. Download File - Click to download the file (can be turned off when customizing the player).
18. Scroll List Down - Scrolls the list down one track.
